Community Groups Showcase Disease Prevention at Orange County Forum

Orange County received $4.1 million from the CDC to support government, education, and nonprofit entities working in Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Anaheim on disease prevention. The projects that came out of these partnerships ranged from traditional—nutrition education and physical activity promotion—to boldly forward-thinking—funding the installation and design of a bicycle boulevard.

More than thirty cyclists came out to OCTA's Bike Rally Thursday morning at Orange Station. The roughly 3.5-mile route cut through Old Town Orange using side streets and the Santiago River Trail Bike Path.
